Alchemy Salon Houston was founded with a clear intention: to create a welcoming, inclusive salon experience in East Downtown Houston where both stylists and guests feel valued, supported, and inspired.
From the beginning, Alchemy was built on the belief that luxury does not have to feel exclusive and expertise should never feel intimidating. We created a space where guests can truly make themselves at home.
As an inclusive, non-gender pricing salon, we believe services should be based on time, technique, and personalization, not gender. Every guest is treated with equal care and thoughtful attention.

At Alchemy Salon Houston, we specialize in lived-in and low-maintenance color designed to grow out beautifully and fit your real life.
We don’t create hair that controls your calendar. We curate personalized hair plans that align with your lifestyle, maintenance preferences, and long-term goals.
Through detailed consultations and honest conversations, we help guests feel confident not just when they leave the salon, but in the weeks and months that follow.
An Education Driven Culture
Alchemy is deeply committed to continuous growth.
We host multiple in salon advanced education sessions each year, bringing in specialized educators to refine techniques such as dimensional color placement, foiling efficiency, and modern cutting methods.
As a Paul Mitchell salon, our team also participates in regional and national education opportunities. In addition, we join in annual travel based education experiences and maintain an internal education fund to support each stylist’s personal development.
