Education Is at the Heart of What We Do
Education is one of Alchemy Salon’s core values and a key reason clients choose us as their go to Houston salon. In 2025, one of our biggest highlights was traveling to Las Vegas for the Paul Mitchell Desert Bloom Convention, where our team immersed themselves in advanced hair color techniques, cutting education, curly hair education, and business development for salon professionals.
We believe great hair services go beyond technique. Along with hands on education, we invest in coaching and leadership development so our stylists understand client experience, long term hair health, and how to create personalized results. Continuing education allows our team to stay current on trends while delivering consistent, thoughtful service every time you visit Alchemy.

Paige graduated from our apprenticeship program
Malanie and Julissa were promoted to full commission stylists
Valeria and Kella joined the Alchemy Salon team
Katie and Jaclyn officially stepped away from behind the chair into full time Manager and CEO roles
These changes strengthen how we operate as a salon and allow us to better support our stylists, elevate our systems, and improve the overall client experience from booking to checkout.
Community First Always
Being a part of the Houston community means more to us than just doing hair. In 2025, Alchemy Salon hosted networking events, participated as vendors with local businesses, and supported future beauty professionals through career days.
One of the most meaningful moments of the year was our holiday toy drive. With clients donating just $1 dollar, we were able to purchase and donate toys to families in need. This moment perfectly reflects who we are as a salon that values generosity, connection, and giving back.
